The company was started by Adam Drury in July 2021. Adam is an accomplished leader with extensive experience managing large scale digital and transformation projects and programmes in the health and care sector. He has a reputation as a Trusted Advisor to Senior Executives in the NHS, private health care and commercial sectors. He has proven success delivering results and adding value at operational and strategic levels in digital health, service transformation and programme leadership.
Adam founded Freyson Consulting following 13 years working in the health and care consulting sector, 10 years in the NHS and 6 years in academia. He previously worked as a Director at GE Healthcare Partners where he was part of the UK & Ireland healthcare consulting leadership team and led a wide range of projects in digital health, service transformation and programme management and delivery. Prior to GE, Adam was a Managing Consultant at Finnamore (and before that Tribal Consulting), with a specific focus on healthcare digital strategies and business cases.
Adam's NHS experience was predominantly as part of the senior management team in a large NHS Health Informatics Service (HIS) where he was responsible for finance, HR, audit, Service Level Agreement (SLA) management, organisational development, governance, business development, corporate communications and performance reporting. He also undertook roles leading on training strategy and delivery for large scale NHS IT implementations, and the development of partnerships between the NHS, academia and industry to evaluate and roll out digital innovation. Adam's work in the NHS built on his previous experience in the academic sector where he was a programme manager for a large scale software development project supporting undergraduate science education in the UK.
The combination of 30 years experience in managing large scale projects and programmes and 25 years experience in digital and transformation in the health sector makes Freyson Consulting a compelling option for your external advisory support requirements.
